The Memorial Design Programme
At the heart of Voices of Hope is the Memorial Design Program, where schools across Efate and Port Vila are invited to imagine and shape the future memorial through drawing, clay modelling, and storytelling.
Each child’s contribution becomes part of a larger act of remembrance — transforming grief into education, art, and unity.
Our Mission
To empower and fund the schools, students, and communities involved in the memorial project — ensuring that creativity, opportunity, and education remain at the centre of Port Vila’s recovery.
Through grants, scholarships, workshops, and creative programs, Voices of Hope will continue to support the development of Vanuatu's next generation.

How can you help the kids in Vanuatu? Voices of hope uses direct donations through the school store to gift the schools what they need for the kids. We also sponsor the schools we have in our programme for developing their facilities and classrooms.
How does this work?
The schools send us lists of the main items they are missing, such as pens, books, dictionary, footballs or even backpacks for two lucky kids. We put these lists on the page for donors to lok through and decide for themselves if they would like to donate an individual item. Maybe you would like to give a child the chance to get to school dry, as it rains for many days of the year in Vanuatu and you decide to buy 5 umbrellas.
Amazing! Your generous gift purchased through the store will be purchased through a vendor and sent to our distribution facility awaiting release. When a air delivery or bulk shipment can be made we will send your gift to the school of your choice. Once the school and the kids receive your gift we will send you a thank you email. So you know your good deed have made an impact on a childs life.
Our Founder Jason travels to Vanuatu often to deliver small items to the kids that have been purchased through the website and for larger or bulk deliveries we partner with a Sydney based logistics company to ship the gifts by freight. The freight often takes longer to be collected and also longer in travel time however it is the most cost effective and efficient way to transport larger quantities for the schools.
